Main Components & Hardware

 Main Components:

  • Nebulizer Unit: NB-80E-01-H TDK
  • Temperature & Humidity Sensor: DHT12
  • Microcontroller: Arduino Uno R4 Wi-Fi

System Architecture:

The hardware system is built around an Arduino Uno R4 Wi-Fi, which serves as the central processing unit. The nebulizer unit (NB-80E-01-H TDK) is controlled through a relay switch connected to the Arduino. A DHT12 humidity sensor continuously monitors real-time humidity levels and transmits the data to the microcontroller.

To ensure safe operation, a float switch is integrated into the system to detect water levels. If the water level drops below a critical threshold, the float switch triggers an automatic shutdown of the humidifier to prevent dry operation.

Power management is handled using a buck converter, which steps down the voltage from 12V to 5V to supply power to the Arduino and other low-voltage components. The entire system is powered by a 12V DC power supply, ensuring reliable operation.
